Discovery Channel's new reality series Gold Rush Alaska is about a group of greenhorn gold prospectors from Oregon looking to strike it rich in Alaska. The series centers around the claim they are leasing at Porcupine Creek, which is located NW of Haines, Alaska.
Porcupine Creek is located on the south shore of the Klehini River, opposite bank from the main highway out of Haines.
